So I haven't written in a while. We've been kind of busy but kind of not. Have you ever had those weeks where they're over and you're going...what did I do last week? We haven't been busy overall but haven't really accomplished anything either. At least not that I can think of now.
I took on a volunteer position for the local Army Community Service on Fort Lewis. I'll be in charge of all the volunteers on post and keeping track of their hours and things like that, along with being an assistant to the head of ACS. I'm pretty excited. We even found a position on the front desk that Katie can do! Now we can work together...awesome!
Tomorrow's the Relay For Life. We're really excited to get out there. This relay is small but still so important!! We didn't manage to fund raise, which I'm really disappointed in. I shouldn't say we didn't, Katie got a donation from her in-laws!! Woohoo!! I don't think, with the way the country is right now, anyone will really care that we're coming empty handed. I am doing a raffle for some gift baskets from Mary Kay at $2/ticket and selling product out there to benefit the relay so we'll see how that goes! I'm hopeful.
Keith and I get to come home to visit next week. I'm way excited about that.
Well, apparently, Keith is physically unable to get away from his computer to let the dogs in and feed them tonight and since it's almost 10 p.m. I guess I'd better give up on him doing it and just do it myself.
Goodnight.
